Schizophrenia Painting

I painted this to represent Schizophrenia. ]

I want to clear a couple misconceptions about it.

Schizophrenia is NOT Multiple Personality Disorder (More accurately know as Dissociative Identity Disorder)
Schizophrenia is a chemical imbalance of the brain. It is caused by too much Dopamine (a neurotransmitter that causes chemical reactions in our brain).

People with Schizophrenia have two types of symptoms:

Positive symptoms (can include but are not limited to): Auditory/Visual Hallucinations, Delusions, Problems organizing speech/thought patterns, and Disorganized behaviors

And

Negative symptoms (can included but are not limited to): Lack of emotions, neglect of personal hygiene, social withdrawal and other things.

Most commonly people with Schizophrenia have Paranoid Schizophrenia. Common delusions that people are out to get them; they have been abducted by aliens; the government has implanted a microchip in them... Things like that.

Please note: If you display some of these symptoms do not think "OMG I HAVE SCHIZOPHRENIA"
This is not diagnostic and only a trained doctor can tell you definitively. Thank you for reading and the information I have provided barely scrapes the bottom of the barrel on the information about Schizophrenia.
